Filetodrop is built to move files between your own devices over a local network. It does not collect your personal data, and it does not send your files or information to us or to any server we control.
Filetodrop has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no cloud servers. Your files travel directly from one device to another over the local network you are both connected to. We never see them.

When you send a file, it is transferred directly from your device to the receiving device over the local network you share — such as a home or office Wi-Fi network, a router, or a personal hotspot that a user has turned on. Files are not routed through, uploaded to, or stored on any server operated by us or any third party. The transfer happens device-to-device.
Filetodrop requests certain device permissions solely to perform its function. These permissions are used on your device only and do not send information to us:
Any files you send or receive are stored only on your own device, in the locations you or the app designate (for example, your Downloads, Pictures, or Movies folders). You remain in full control of these files and can delete them at any time using your device. We have no access to them.
Filetodrop does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is a general-purpose file transfer tool and is not directed at children.
Filetodrop does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services. When you open a received file, your device may use another application you have installed (such as a PDF viewer or media player) to open it; that application is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.
If Filetodrop's functionality changes in a way that affects this policy — for example, if a future version introduces a feature that collects data — we will update this policy and revise the date above before that feature is released. Continued use of the app after such an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
